Founded in 2022, WhizzFix began as a trusted service for handbag and shoe restorations. Over the years, the team built a reputation for careful craftsmanship and premium care of luxury items.
In 2025 we opened our self-service laundry alongside the staffed wash, dry and fold service we had offered on a smaller scale since the start, bringing the same attention to detail into everyday life.

Experienced in handbag and shoe restoration since 2022, locally trusted in Malta, and flexible: drop off, pick up, or do it yourself in store.
Checked and photographed
Every item is checked and photographed before and after work, so you see exactly what changed and nothing goes unrecorded.
Tested on a hidden area first
Every product is tested on a hidden spot before it touches visible leather, fabric or suede. If a stain might not come out, you are told before we start.
Steam and ozone, no harsh chemicals
Sanitisation uses steam and ozone. Laundry runs in commercial machines with detergent included, and delicate items are handled by hand.

Our approach to sustainability
We aim to use sustainable products and to support sustainability by promoting repairing over replacing. WhizzFix started in 2022 with handbag and shoe restoration, work that is still at the heart of the shop: a restored pair of shoes or a revived bag stays in use instead of being thrown away. Our rules have not changed:
Every item is checked and photographed before and after.
Every product is tested on a hidden area first.
If a stain might not come out or a colour will not match exactly, you are told before the work starts.
How it works
The same five steps for a bag of laundry, a pair of suede boots or a Birkin. Only the tools change.
- Step 1
Book online or drop off
Choose a service and a time online, or bring your items to 88 Triq Birkirkara, St Julian's. Pickups run anywhere in Malta for €4 each way.
- Step 2
Check-in and photos
Each item is inspected, photographed and logged with your notes: known damage, previous repairs, anything that must not go in a dryer.
- Step 3
Clean, repair or restore
Laundry in commercial machines. Shoes and bags by hand, with products matched to the material and tested on a hidden area first.
- Step 4
Finish and quality check
Pressed, polished, conditioned and photographed again. Glue and edge paint are left to cure properly so repairs last.
- Step 5
Back to you
We message you when it is ready. Collect from the shop, or we deliver anywhere in Malta at a time that suits you.
