Chanel Handbag Cleaning & Restoration in Malta
Chanel bag cleaning starts from €25, colour touch-ups from €35 and colour restoration from €45 at WhizzFix in St Julian's, Malta. We clean, hydrate and re-colour quilted lambskin and caviar leather, repair worn corners and edges, and polish tarnished hardware. Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 working days for cleaning and 7 to 14 days for colour work.
What we do for Chanel bags
- Cleaning and hydration. Lambskin dries out and dulls in Malta's heat. We clean the surface, feed the leather and restore its sheen without changing its texture.
- Corner and edge repair. Worn corners on Classic Flap, Boy and 2.55 bags are rebuilt and colour-matched so the wear stops spreading.
- Colour touch-ups and full re-colour. Faded panels, scuffs and colour transfer from clothing are corrected. Colours are matched by hand.
- Hardware polish. Gold-tone and silver-tone chains, turnlocks and CC clasps are polished. We do not re-plate, and we will tell you if the plating itself has worn through.
- Interior clean. Lining is cleaned and deodorised.

These are starting prices including VAT. The final quote depends on the leather, the size and the condition of the bag, and we confirm it after inspection before any work starts.
What to expect
Quilted lambskin marks easily, so we test every product on a hidden area first. We will be honest if a mark is in the leather rather than on it: deep scratches on lambskin can be softened but not erased. Caviar leather is more forgiving and usually comes up very well.
